School & Assignment Resources

Check out these resources you can access 24/7 with your library card and an internet connection!

eJournals and eBooks

Welcome to the deep web, which is the part of the internet iceberg you cannot see without us. This is no Google. This is a prodigious (SAT word alert!) vault of peer-reviewed academic literature. All you need is your library card number.

  • If you have a limited amount of time from now until your assignment’s due date, go to the “advanced search” option. Click the box for “limit to full text articles” or some variation thereof. Proceed with your search, and get results you can read right away.
  • When you click on an article you would like to use, look for the citation icon, which will create your citation for your Works Cited or Bibliography in APA, MLA, and Chicago Manual styles. Time saver? Check!
