The parade began the festivities on Friday, October 7, 1892, the day of the 250th Anniversary of Woburn, at 10:30 A.M. There were five divisions in the parade, with a grand military, civic and trades procession participating. The parade took a long route throughout Woburn, beginning on Main, Wyman, Lowell, Clinton, New Boston, and Beach streets and Cleveland Avenue and moving though Main, Pleasant, Warren, Fowle, Highland, Mt. Pleasant, Prospect, Montvale, Broad and Main Streets to a reviewing stand set up on Woburn Common. The parade program lists the dignataries, such as Governor William E. Russell, and the military regiments, bands, fire companies, trade processions, and floats that took part in the parade.
