Hard to believe, but Americans have always had their differences. Differences of opinions, different political leanings, different religions–we hold to our beliefs. The arguments between colonists (loyalists and eventual patriots) ahead of the Revolutionary War were just as heated as many of the ones we’re having in 2020. Join us as we transform the historic side of the library into a scene typical of a New England tavern. Interact with the re-enactors over political issues of the day, join in the tavern dancing (with live music by period trio Linen and Lace), drink some cider and grab a bag of popcorn. You’re about to engage with history!
