Once concluded, the anniversary celebrations received glowing reviews in the media. The Boston Globe wrote, "All propitious were the skyey influences on the day of Woburn's great parade. Her jubilee was a success unqualified." Another review by the Boston Record stated, "Woburn has blazed and shrieked and decorated and shouted and paraded and danced, and to-night she dines in state. It's a real fall festival." The Woburn Journal reported "The whole thing worked just like a piece of delicately adjusted machinery, and the heads of departments and sub-heads were equally deserving of credit for the noteworthy and very gratifying success of the grand affair."
