Artist Statement
Through my lens, I use my intuition to capture the beauty and stories hidden within the streets and landscapes of our world and present them as windows into the cultures and lives of people around the globe. Viewers will gain a deeper appreciation for the diversity of our world and a greater understanding of the common threads that bind us all together.

Photography for me, is more than just a hobby or a profession; it’s a way of life. I love the thrill of chasing the perfect shot and the joy of freezing a moment in time forever. Whether I’m wandering through the narrow alleys of Europe or taking in a bustling Asian city from the back of a taxi, my camera is always by my side, ready to capture the magic that surrounds me. Join me on this journey of discovery, and together, let’s explore the world one global click at a time.

Description of the Exhibition
Her new exhibition, “Portugal Unveiled: Through the Doors of Time”, invites viewers to explore the symbolism of Portugal’s vintage doors and reflect on the doors they encounter daily – the opportunities that present themselves, the challenges that may seem like closed doors, and the potential for growth and change. Through this exhibition, Liz encourages everyone to see vintage doors, like opportunities that may sometimes be hidden or overlooked, blending into the backdrop of our lives. Just as each vintage door in Portugal holds a unique story, each opportunity that comes our way carries the promise of a new chapter in our own journey. Embracing the unknown behind these doors can lead us to moments of beauty, understanding, and self-discovery that we may never have
imagined possible.

Liz has exhibited in solo shows for her previous exhibition titled “Portugal 41” at Winnekenni Castle (Haverhill, MA), Chelmsford Public Library (Chelmsford, MA), Trescott Street Gallery (Taunton, MA), a three-person show at the Gleason Public Library (Carlisle, MA), and recently with “Portugal Unveiled: Through the Doors of Time” at the Lunenburg Public Library (Lunenburg, MA) and Billerica Public Library (Billerica, MA).
