Orin W. Stevens, a Woburn resident employed as a shoemaker, enlisted at age 32, on August 25, 1862, as a Private in Company G, 5th Regiment Massachusetts Volunteers and mustered in on Septemnber 16, 1862. He mustered out on July 2, 1863.

Born: Hampstead N.H. 1832. s. of Moses and Sophia Lyford.

Died: Woburn, Mass. Feb. 12, 1896.
