Nathaniel Davis, a resident of Winchester employed as a farmer, enlisted at the age of 30 as a Private in the 1st Battalion Massachusetts Volunteers, Heavy Artillery and was mustered in on February 26, 1862. He was discharged on Feb. 27, 1865.
