Thomas P. Stowers, a shoemaker from Groveland, enlisted at age 23, on Aug. 27, 1862, as a Private in Company G, 5th Regiment Massachusetts, mustering in on September 16, 1862. He mustered out on July 2, 1863.
Biography:
Born: Revere, Mass. Feb. 27, 1839. s. of Josph B. and Nancy of Tewksbury.
Married: Maria M. Graydon of Woburn Sept. 27, 1857.
Issue: Thomas W. (1859) Charles (1861) Emma L. (1871) Rebecca G. (1874).
Note: Buried in Woodbrook Cemetery, Johnson Ave. Lot no. 1080.
