Service Record:
Huntington Porter, a resident of Stoneham employed as a clerk, enlisted at age 22, on July 10, 1861, in the 13th Massachusetts Volunteer Infantry, Company G, and was mustered in on July 16, 1861. He was wounded on July 1, 1863 at Gettysburg, Pennsylvania and was discharged on Jan. 30, 1864 for his wounds.
