250th Anniversary Archway

Woburn took months to prepare for the celebration and to beautify the town for the outside guests. The Quarter-Millennial Arch, at the bend on Main Street from the Unitarian Church, welcomed guests to the celebration. The opposite side of the arch, looking southwest to Pleasant Street, read "Charlestowne Village is called Wooborne."
