Service Record:
Abraham G. Nichols, a resident of Boston employed as a farmer, enlisted and was mustered into the 16th Regiment Massachusetts Vounteer Infantry, Company K as a Private on July 2, 1861. He was wounded on August 29, 1862 in Virginia at the Second Battle of Bull Run and discharged for his wounds on February 12, 1863.
