William H. Cummings, a resident of Woburn employed as a carpenter, enlisted at the age of 22, on August 25, 1862, as a Private in Company G, 5th Regiment Massachusetts Infantry, mustering in on Sept. 16, 1862. He mustered out on July 2, 1863.
Biography:
Born: Burlington, March 5, 1840. Son of Henry & Eliza Brown.
Married: Anna E. Daland of Woburn, Sept. 17, 1863.

Died: Woburn, Aug. 7, 1900.
