Service Record:
George E. Goodwin, a farmer, enlisted as a Private at age 18, on August 15, 1862, in the 22nd Regiment Massachusetts Volunteer Infantry, Company F, mustering in on August 16, 1862. He was wounded on June 3, 1864 at Bethesda Church, Virginia and was discharged on October 17, 1864.
