Friends of the Woburn Public Library

The Friends of the Woburn Public Library are back! The Friends are volunteers that promote awareness and use of the Woburn Public Library. Your dues help fund the Museum Pass Program for Woburn residents.

The Friends of the Woburn Public Library is excited to announce its Annual Book Sale September 20th and 21st, 2024. We will be accepting donations in the Woburn Public Library Program Room September 16th through 19th of books, CDs, DVDs, games, and puzzles.

This is a great opportunity to clean out your collection and benefit the Library and the community! We are also looking for student volunteers to help unload donations and earn YES hours.

As always, our Sale Shelf is located on the lower floor across from the Children’s room, and will continue to have books available leading up to the sale.

The circulation desk has Friends tote bags available as well!

What The Friends Do

• Promote increased awareness and use of the Woburn Public Library
• Assist in fundraising for the Library and Woburn Public Library Foundation
• Fund the museum passes for Woburn residents

Membership Benefits

• Your dues help fund the museum pass program for Woburn residents.
• All members aged 18+ are entitled to vote at Friends meetings.
• All members receive a Friends of the WPL sticker.

• Suggested donation levels:
  1. Individual: $15
  2. Family: $25
  3. Lifetime Member: $500
