Artist Display Request Form

The Woburn Public Library welcomes the opportunity to allow community groups and individuals to use the display and exhibit areas in the Program Room to encourage and support the civic, intellectual, and cultural pursuits of the community. Space is provided for displays of an educational, cultural, intellectual, charitable, or recreational nature and for exhibits of works of area artists and craftspeople. Displays of materials from the library’s collection and/or displays for publicizing library services, collections, or activities take precedence over external requests.

Art Show Details

Each Show lasts for 4 weeks.

You will coordinate to hang your pieces, one day of the first week of the 4 week period.

You will coordinate to remove your pieces the last week of the second 4 week period.

The Woburn Public Library is located at 45 Pleasant Street, Woburn, MA. On the day of the set-up, park outside of the back doors of the library at the time coordinated with the Library. You will be met by the Director or their designee at that back door with a cart to help carry your pieces in. There is plenty of parking close to the back doors to finalize and then park your vehicle.

There is enough room roughly for 20, 16×20, Framed pieces. You will be assisted and directed in hanging your pieces. Make small cards to place a title with thumbtacks (yours) next to each piece. Each piece should be framed unless it is a canvas, sides painted, Professionally! Each piece must be wired, no sawtooth hangers!

There is a special area to place your Business cards and personal documentation. Do not place prices next to pieces. You may put prices on a titled documentation sheet next to your business cards.
