The library will be closed for the move starting February 9 until March 16, when we reopen for a special Opening Day Celebration from 2 PM-5:30 PM.



  • Free Wireless Internet access is available throughout the library. No registration or password is required. The wireless network name is Woburn.

  • In order to use the wireless service you need a laptop computer or other wireless device with a properly configured wireless network interface card.

  • For Wireless Internet access at HOME or anywhere in the CONTINENTAL UNITED STATES, check out one of our WiFi Hotspots. These Hotspots must be picked up at and returned to the Woburn Public Library’s circulation desk. The checkout period is two weeks, after which a $5 per day fee is assessed. The replacement cost for each Hotspot is $100.

Public Computers

  • Public desktop computers provide Internet access and Microsoft Office or equivalent software. Users must sign-in to a computer with a library card or guest pass. Time limits may apply. The library’s Internet Access Policy can be found here.

  • Users of the library’s public computers may save files to their own flash drives or floppy discs.


  • Black & white printing is available from the public computers, or from your laptop or device (via email app or email attachment) at a charge of 20 cents per copy.

  • Color laser printing via email attachment or email app is available for 40 cents per copy.


  • Within the library, you may ePrint from a public computer or personal device. See directions.


  • Photocopiers (black and white only) are available on the Main Floor. Photocopies are 20 cents per page.


  • Reference Librarians are available to assist you with scanning a document to your flash drive.  There is no charge.

 Newspaper Microfilm

  • Back issues of Woburn newspapers are available on microfilm. A microfilm (reel/fiche) reader/printer is located on the Main Floor. Printing is 25 cents per page.


  • Library staff can direct you to places in Woburn where faxing is available.

 Device Advice

  • Library staff is available to assist you with downloading e-books and e-audiobooks to your tablet, smartphone, Apple devices, etc.
